We have recently got a new shearing contractor. We were very happy with new shearer's job on the sheep. It was especially note the job they did shearing around the breech area. There was no additional cost to shear these mules free sheep. There were 8 shearer's (including 1x leaner) and shore 1250 sheep in the day.

In our experience with mules free sheep we are noticing the tail length at the 3rd joint seems to be ideal.

The 2 yo ewes in the video cut on average 5.3kg for 8 months wool growth, which is 8kg annualised.
