Pooginook has marked 121% of lambs to ewes joined (5 week join). Having the condition on their back pre-lamb was critical as we had no rain from March to mid June. Ewes have worked hard since lambing in May-June and were in lower condition at marking. However it was the optimal condition at the point of lambing that got us the high lamb survival result. Singles were 3.0BCS and twins were 3.7BCS.

Now imprinting lambs for next few weeks to prepare for an early wean to let the ewes recover for next season of conception.
